About Forever Jen Memorial Run Inc
Forever Jen Memorial Run Inc is a local non-profit organization that is serving individuals in Lincoln County and surrounding communities.
Forever Jen Memorial Run Inc is the legacy of Jennifer Marie Gladis. She was a normal teenager living life. Afflicted with knee pain, she went to the doctor for an x-ray. Upon reading the x-ray – normal family life changed forever. The diagnosis was Metastasis Osteosarcoma which is bone cancer that had spread to her pelvis & lungs. Fighting courageously for 16 months the battle was lost on August 13, 2004 at the young age of 16.
Jennifer was Honorary Survivor for the Lincoln County Relay for Life 2 years in a row where she also had her own Relay team. After her passing the team dissolved only to be resurrected for her 10th anniversary of diagnosis. Her team continued for several years. One of the fundraisers the relay team organized was a motorcycle run where the proceeds went to the Relay for Life. When the Forever Jen relay team disbanded in 2018, Jennifer’s sister wanted to continue the motorcycle run and dedicate the funds to a Guest of Honor that was dealing with a serious medical condition. So with that, we went to seek legal advice to establish “Forever Jen Memorial Run Inc” in 2019. After we created our business, we took it one step further, to become a non-profit organization in that same year.
Forever Jen Memorial Run Inc wants to be a helping hand! Striving to be bigger and better! Always building, improving and learning. Our Guests of Honor are in a position nobody wishes to be in and nobody should walk it alone. Our organization solely relies on fundraisers, donations and volunteer efforts.
Forever Jen Memorial Run Inc is proud to say that over $50,000 have been raised and donated to our very special guests!! Achieving this was made possible from our local community members and their contributions!
Gone But Not Forgotten!!!
